Me, myself and the rest of the world

Who's judging?

Picture
The aim of this website is to provide advice to teens on a variety of issues. The site also helps teens discover who they truly are. Whether your all alone or surrounded by friends everyone needs a helping hand.

I am a 15 year old teenage girl (No perverts here) living in South Africa. I am pretty screwed up myself and I still don't really know who I am. I wish I could say I don't care what other people think and that I don't weigh myself twice, sometimes three times a day but I do. It helps knowing there is someone else out there going through the same thing as me.

News Flash: We live in a judgmental world. We are defined by what we wear, what we eat, what we weigh and what we look like. A fact that has been exploited by movie producers everywhere. These movies portray the protagonist as an outsider someone who doesn't fit in. The sad truth is that reality is far more subtle than that.  The true protagonists are among us, hidden from plain site, an average human being. We judge ourselves more than we are judged by others. Thus to truly make this planet a less judgmental place we have to accept ourselves for what we are and not what we're not. We have to be ourselves. Yes, I know you've heard it all before but just stop and think for a moment. What do YOU define yourself by? Who are you? and Who has the right to judge you if you are being yourself? The first two questions are a little hard to answer and the answers are completely up to you but the third answer is the answer to all your problems... no one. No one can judge you if you are being yourself and if you are being yourself you won't care anyway. Be who you want to be, love yourself and screw everyone else who doesn't agree. The only judgement that matters is your own.

The site features articles on a variety of subjects from mental health to body health etc. and includes my blog as well as reviews, quizzes and much more. So please use the site knowing there is no judgement from my side. Just acceptance.

It's a long journey and it starts with me, myself and I.
